The School Community Council (SCC) is a vital component of Mountain Creek Middle School, playing a significant role in the decision-making process and overall development of the school. As per Utah state law, the SCC is responsible for developing and implementing the School Improvement Plan, also known as the School LAND Trust Plan.

The Mountain Creek Middle School SCC consists of elected parents and teachers, as well as the school principal. Meetings are held 4 times a year, with dates and times announced in advance. All meetings are open to the public, and parents are encouraged to attend and participate in the decision-making process. If you are interested in being a part of the council, the nomination and election processes occur in the fall of each year. Refer back to this website and school announcements as school begins each year. The council's primary responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the School Improvement Plan

• Allocating School LAND Trust funds to support school improvement initiatives

• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the School Improvement Plan
